Responsibilities
-
Perform a variety of massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, to address patient needs.

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.

Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and relaxed during their sessions.

Maintain accurate records of treatments and client progress-SOAP notes.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (chiropractor, occupational therapist, acupuncturist to enhance patient care.

Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy, anatomy, and pain management techniques.

Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols within the practice.
Experience
-
Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong focus on customer service.

Familiarity with pain management strategies and patient service best practices.

A solid understanding of anatomy and physiology is essential for effective treatment planning.

Support Occupational Therapists in delivering high-quality care
-
Lead patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, functional activities, and self-care training

Assist with application of treatment modalities
-
Work with a wide range of patients, from children to older adults
-
Communicate clearly with patients and team members
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation (notes and patient records)
-
Collaborate with chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and stretch coaches as part of a multidisciplinary team
-
Maintain a clean, professional, and organized treatment area
-
Stay current on license and certification requirements
Experience

Active New Jersey COTA License (Required)

PAMs certification required before start date

Comfortable working with patients of all ages

Experience or strong interest in supporting patients with general pain, movement limitations, and functional challenges

Minimum 1–2 years in a leadership, management, or high-responsibility front desk role

Familiar with KPIs, team communication tools, and patient service
